A crazy, cool climate expression of Syrah from the only two sites planted to the variety in Cambria. I sourced fruit from Stolo Vineyard and Boulder Ridge; both on Santa Rosa Creek Road. Fermented separately and aged in three neutral French Oak barrels, I racked and blended in the spring and bottled after nine months of aging. Will age well over a decade in bottle, thanks to concentration, low alcohol and bright natural acidity. Alcohol 13%. Sadly, Boulder Ridge’s vines were ripped out in 2019.
